Carrie Fisher Once Asked William Shatner to Sign a Slave Leia Photo

Carrie Fisher as Princess Leia Organa in 'Return of the Jedi'.

Yes, William Shatner has been asked to sign something from Star Wars in the past — and the request was unforgettable.
On Sunday, while talking to fans via Twitter, the Star Trek icon was asked if someone ever brought him memorabilia from a galaxy far, far away to autograph.
It turns out, someone sure did.
"Carrie Fisher wanted me to sign one of her slave Leia photos," Shatner wrote. "Does that count?"
Needless to say, fans thought that reveal was delightful, and he was, repeatedly, asked if he indeed signed the picture. Shatner has yet to respond.
The late Princess Leia actress was just as well known for her characters onscreen as her unique, quirky personality offscreen. So learning she asked the Captain Kirk actor to sigh a scantily clad picture of herself shouldn't shock fans.
Fisher died in December 2016 at the age of 60.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi was her final film. He daughter, Billie Lourd, also appears in the 2017 Rian Johnson film.
